School Events

School Events:
#1: Chinese New Year Celebrations
      This is where we celebrate Chinese New Year with Chinese decorations, lots of these songs, and games where we can play.
#2: Youth Day Celebrations
      This is where we totally celebrate with youth games and lots of fun with the YFAs. Not only that, the surprises are also fantastic performances, and even lots of partying!
#3: National Day Celebrations
      This is where we celebrate National Day with a Singapore flag, and also many other things in which we can participate during National Day. This is inclusive of performances and brilliant partying.
#4: Racial Harmony Day
      This is where we meet our other racist friends and we can share racial harmony using other religious items. This is surely useful to everybody in Pathlight School!
#5: Last Day Of School: Non-stop Party!
      This is where we say goodbye to Secondary One, and we can have lots of activities and partying, even in the night after the school closes. Because of that, this will be the best school event where we can go to a place for a non-stop disco party. We will miss some of our friends, and sometimes come back in another year.

My best memory is the Primary Six Graduation Night in 2012.

My favourite location in school

My favourite location in school is the school hall.

PSLE

PSLE, known as Primary School Leaving Examination, is the final examinations for most of the Primary Six students, in which Primary Six is the last year of primary school. There are subjects for every PSLE in standard stream, such as English, Mathematics, Mother Tongue, Higher Mother Tongue, and Science. There are also subjects for every PSLE in foundation stream, such as Foundation English, Foundation Mathematics, Foundation Mother Tongue, and Foundation Science. Because of PSLE examinations, most of the Primary Six students will take part to decide whether they can go to Secondary School, or to stay back for one more year in primary school. Whenever they can go to Secondary School, there are two streams where students will take part in only one stream. They are the Express stream and the Normal stream. Once students are posted to take part in the Normal stream, the Normal stream is divided into two smaller streams, where students will take part in only one smaller stream. They are the Academic stream and the Technical stream. The Express stream is the hardest of all the other streams, where there are more new topics than the ones in other streams. The Normal stream is easier, with the fewer number of topics than the ones in the Express stream, where some questions made in the Express stream are harder for the students in the Normal stream. Because of that, PSLE is the final examinations for the Primary Six students.

My favourite teacher

My favourite teacher is Mr Paul. He teaches me a lot of subjects such as Mathematics, Life Readiness, and Class Admin. He is also our satellite school coordinator, who is the leader of every single Secondary One classes. He visits Peirce Secondary School for most of his time in 2013, which is this year. He also creates Mathematics worksheets for me and my classmates to do. He also makes us go to some of the common facilities that Peirce Secondary School students use. He always make me and my classmates behave in order to advance very fast into the next items. We always greet him every single Monday, only when there is no school holiday or no public holiday. He works together with many teachers and YFAs in order to have success in everybody's lives. Because of that, he is also assisting in preparations before Contact Time. Leading to our success, I hope Mr Paul. will have to make us learn everyday in our lives before taking our examinations in order to get to Secondary Two Express stream. Success is a value in which we need to achieve with my class form teacher, Mr. Paul, who had joined Pathlight School in Semester Two during the year 2012.
